About this role

Sarvam is building India's sovereign AI stack, and Sarvam Studio is its creative media product: dub videos, clone voices, generate music, and wire together multi step AI pipelines across 12+ Indian languages, all from the browser. This Frontend Engineer seat owns that web experience end to end. The work is meaty for a frontend role: real time media workflows, in browser audio and video recording with waveform rendering, and a visual node based canvas where users drag and drop AI capabilities into custom pipelines. The stack is Next.js (App Router), React and TypeScript in a monorepo, with a shared design system. It is a high ownership seat on a small, fast team in Bengaluru, and you ship features from API integration through state management to polished UI. Good fit for a product minded frontend engineer with three to five years who wants real surface area, not pixel pushing.

Who this is for

What the posting asks for:
- 3 to 5 years in frontend engineering, shipping production web applications.
- Strong React and TypeScript (hooks, context, custom abstractions, performance optimisation), described as non negotiable.
- Hands on Next.js with the App Router, server components, API routes and middleware, also non negotiable.
- Experience with state management at scale (React Query, Redux, Zustand or similar).

The day to day: you build Studio's core media workflows (video and voice dubbing, voice cloning), own a visual node based pipeline editor, implement real time job progress tracking, build in browser recording and media playback, work in a Next.js monorepo, extend a shared design system, and instrument features with analytics and error monitoring.

Location: Bengaluru, high ownership role on a small team.

Honest read: an unusually substantial frontend role, closer to product engineering than UI work, at an Indian AI company solving hard media problems. If you want deep React and Next.js work with real product impact, it fits well.
