About this role
A Forward Deployed Engineer at Sarvam is a hands on engineer who embeds with enterprise clients and gets their AI systems into production, not a technical project manager. You own the technical arc of a customer engagement from scoping through to the system running live: you design the end to end AI system, make the architecture decisions that survive real reliability, latency, accuracy and cost constraints, and then build it yourself in whatever the stack calls for. Engagements range across voice and conversational systems, developer tooling on Sarvam's APIs, translation and dubbing pipelines, and agentic workflows with the MCP infrastructure underneath. Based in Bengaluru. Sarvam hires across levels and prefers 4+ years, but says agency, AI fundamentals and a shipping track record matter more than the number. Good fit for a strong generalist who likes owning the customer problem end to end.
