Veeva builds cloud software for life sciences, and Vault, its main platform, runs on infrastructure that has to stay available while it is being upgraded. This role tests that infrastructure rather than the product features: setting up and maintaining test environments, then writing automation that exercises infrastructure changes such as zero downtime deployments, using AWS, Kubernetes and Docker. The posting asks for a bachelor's or master's in computer science or a related field and about a year in test automation or an SDET role. Veeva says plainly in the description that fresh graduates and people who have recently started their careers are welcome to apply, which is rarer than it should be.
