Veeva
About this role
Veeva builds cloud software for the life sciences industry. Its Vault platform holds the documents and data that pharma and biotech companies need for clinical trials, regulatory submissions and quality records, so the software has to ship carefully and predictably. Release engineering is that job: helping move code from a developer branch through automated checks into a controlled release. The posting asks for about a year of experience and, unusually, states most requirements as basics rather than mastery: basic Java and object oriented concepts, basic Linux and a scripting language (Python, Bash, Ruby or Groovy), basic CI/CD with Jenkins or GitLab CI, exposure to Git, awareness of Docker and AWS. Selenium or Cucumber helps. A realistic first or second job if you like build systems and automation more than product features.
Who this is for
Basic Java, Linux and CI/CD. About 1 year of experience.
