This is the paid, full time step up from Mactores' DevOps internship, and it is remote.
The role sits in their Application and Database Modernization pillar, moving legacy applications, databases and infrastructure from on premises hardware onto AWS on committed delivery dates. Customers arrive with expensive dedicated hardware, deployments that depend on one person's memory, and enterprise Linux, Windows and big data workloads nobody wants to touch. You would join the team that lands those migrations.
Be clear on the bar before applying: the posting asks for roughly 2 years each with Terraform, configuration management and Linux administration. This is not a fresher role. It is included here because it is a realistic next step if you already have a year or two of infrastructure experience.
