Syllabus for Advanced German Skills II Deutsch für Fortgeschrittene II

Major · Semester 8 · Fourth Year BA German Studies Honours with Research · 2 credits · 50 marks

Module 1: Language Skills

Unit 1 Grammar topics dealt with shall include a selection of language structures from: syntax, semantics and pragmatics using cases (nominative, accusative, dative, genitive), declination of articles and adjectives, prepositions, tenses, active and passive voice, prefixes, verb combinations, subjunctive mood, indirect speech, conjunctions, subordinate clauses, participial construction, relative sentences, comprehension, communication skills.
