M.Phil. Degree Course in Urdu
Eligibility: M. A . with 55% of marks and passing the M. Phil Entrance Test.
For Reserved Category Students (SC & ST) M.A. with 50% marks
And passing the M.Phil Entrance Test.
Rules and Regulations
R- Duration: One and a half (1 ½ ) year.
R- Intake ca pacity: 15 students
R- Fees structure: As per University norms.
Format of the Course
Paper I Research Methodology 100 Marks
Paper II Literary History Writing in Urdu 100 Marks
Paper IV Study of a Form (optional)
A- Urdu Ghazal 100 Marks
B- Urdu Short Story 100 Marks
Note:
1-If a Student could not qualify annual written examination in first attempt, He/She has to
take re -admission for the continuation of the course .
2-A Student will have to obtain 50 Percent of aggregate marks and minimum 50 Percent
in each paper also, for qualifying annual written examination.
