Background:

1. T.Y.B.Sc. Computer Science has total 4 major subjects and two applied component subjects.

2. All theory papers mentioned above do have university conducted exams with defined marks as
shown in table 1.

4. Major subject ’s practical are conducted by university(External exams) and Web component
practicals are conducted at respective PCP centers.
80:20 scheme of examination
1. In a new scheme of 80:20% evaluations, every student is evaluated for 80% external examination
(EX) and 20% internal examination (IN) for both, theory as well as practical.

2. For Internals there is no minimum passing mark. Zero marks for internal evaluation are allowed
in both theories as well as for practical.
3. There is anindividual head of passing for theory as well as for practical.
4. Minimum passing marks for theory as well as for practical are 40%.

5. If student fails in any theory subject or practical, he/she has to clear only those theory or practical
component in next attempt. No group passing.
6. In case “University examination” is conducted for 100 marks (for Major subjects) and 60 marks
(for Web designing subjects) then the marks are to be converted to 80 and 48 respectively and
are to be credited to the “External” marks component of the total evaluation.
7. Grace marks for passing in each head of passing (theory / practical) is same as that of
existing ORDINANCE.
8. Ordinance 5042, 5043, 5044, 5045 will be applicable to IDOL.

9. Submission of mark sheet to Exam house by IDOL:
1. Internal mark sheet of all theory subjects (Six subjects= 4 Majo r+ 2 web Design).
2. Internal marks of all practical subjects (Six subjects= 4 Major+ 2 web Design).
3. External mark sheet of Web Design practical subject (2 subjects of Web design)
