Preamble: Alumni cell has to formed as resolved in IQAC meeting in
order to coordinate activities related to alumina and provide various services like placements to students alumina. A data base will be
generated that will have the details of all students registered with all University departments and the Institute of Distance and Open
learning. This data base will be used to shortlisted students as per
the skill sets required by vari ous employers with the help of aptitude
tests and other information. These shortlisted candidates will be sent
for the campus interviews or placements. Financial resources are
required for this activity which are planned to be generated from a
one time fee of Rs.100 to be collected from students.

It is proposed that a one time Alumni cell fee of Rupees 100 shall be
charged for every student registering in the various university
departments/Conducted Colleges and the institute of Open and
Distance Learning (IDOL). For students seeking fresh admission, this
fee be charged at the point of admission. For students who have
already taken admission, the fee should be charged when they are
paying fees for the last semester.
The item is being placed befor e the Academic Council for its
approval.
